The Jetpack plugin for WordPress has a lot of features, and it seems like more and more are being added with each update to the plugin. If you have already installed Jetpack then you are likely taking advantage of some of these features, such as its CDN and contact form.
But another thing that it can do is add a cookie and consent banner to your site that helps you to comply with the GDPR regulations in Europe. Our guide below will show you how to add this banner if you are already using Jetpack on your site.
How to Add the Jetpack Cooke Banner in WordPress
The steps in this article were performed in WordPress 5.1.1, and the Jetpack 7.1.1 version of the plugin. This guide assumes that you have already installed and activated the Jetpack plugin, and that you have enabled the extra Jetpack widgets.
Step 1: Sign into the admin section of your site at (yourdomain.com)/wp-admin.
Step 2: Hover over the Appearance tab at the left side of the window, then choose the Widgets option.
